The kezboard is weird so iäm spelling things wrong.
We just had dinner at the Messemer and we will be going down to lake constance to walk along the water and enjoz the evening. Todaz we went to see how cheese is made and that was the time that we spent driving along the German Border. it was beautiful being able to see the Alps and Lake Constance in the distance. Tomorrow we take the train to munich. We will stay there all weekend at the Sorry about the inability to use this keyboard. So much is different and much is in german so im struggling. it is a beautiful place and i love it.

The last bag is in the car and I'm ready to leave. Hope I'll have a chance to post a few photos along the way. Jill is bringing her laptop so maybe I can make a couple of entries before the long 10 hour flight. We land in Zurich on the 9th and from there we hit the ground running. We will travel to Bregenz by bus and immediately go to our respective homes to meet our host and hostess!!!!

THe 5th of July

Celebrating Freedom in my little town. We had our traditional fireworks display on July 4th along the riverfront but then as an added bonus there was a huge display on the 5th compliments of the Strait Family. It was wonderful!

The Load is Heavy!!

Joe emailed today and said we can take two suitcases since we are going international. I'm so thankful for that. I'm going to distribute what I have in one to the two bags and I will not add anything more to what I'm taking. I did a practice run and as you can see in the picture, my mode of transportation couldn't carry the load!!

Packing

My suitcase is packed to the halfway point. I'm starting to panic that I will leave something behind. There's so much "important" stuff to remember to take that I keep making lists and then losing them. Sounds like the prospect of forgetting some things is high. Jill and I have been making plans. She's bringing the blow dryer and of course she's counting on me to bring everything else that no one would normally think of. Remember the Christmas Tree, Jill, at Brandon last year!!!!! There won't be a CT in my suitcase for Austria but I've tried to think of everything else that we might want or need. Stick to the list Nancy......stick to the list.
